Individual, Pre-Marital, Marital and Family Therapy...

If you are struggling with a problem, want to live life fully and lovingly, or are feeling overwhelmed, tele-counseling may be right for you. Tele-counseling takes place in the privacy of your home and can be done whether you are fifty miles or five thousand miles from my office. You can use tele-counseling to deal with a number of life's problems:

Depression and anxiety
Marital stress and conflict
Parenting concerns
Bereavement and loss
Living with chronic illness and disability
School and work problems
Dealing with major life transitions

My approach to therapy is a solution-focused model of treatment that looks within you, my client, for the seeds of resilience that can help individuals, couples and families overcome adversity and live full and loving lives. And, if your religious faith is a central part of your life, I will also work with you to integrate your faith with your psychological well-being.

How tele-counseling works: After you have applied for services and it is agreed that tele-counseling is appropriate for you, an initial appointment is made with Dr. Shubeck. At the time of the appointment, you will call the Tele-Counseling Center Dedicated Phone Line to have your tele-counseling session. Sessions typically last for fifty minutes and are scheduled on the hour. When appropriate, twenty-five and seventy-five minute sessions can be arranged.
